4 Tough Trim Levels of the 2024 Ford Ranger
1. XL
The base model of the Ranger features a 270-horsepower turbo-four with a 10-speed automatic and your choice of rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. Standard tech includes an 8″ digital gauge cluster, a 10″ infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker stereo.
The Ranger XL incorporates a full driver assistance package. It includes driver attention monitoring, lane departure warning, auto high beams, and forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. You can upgrade the base model of this truck with the Trailer Tow package for a Class IV hitch receiver and either a four-pin or seven-pin wiring harness.
2. XLT
The XLT adds wireless charging, built-in power outlets in the truck bed, remote start, power-folding mirrors, and satellite radio. You’ll also get extra driver assistance tech like rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and lane keep assist.
You can upgrade the Ranger XLT with the Advanced Towing package, which includes the equipment from the Trailer Tow package plus Pro Trailer Backup Assist and a trailer brake controller. This trim is also available with an FX4 Off-Road package for everything you need to hit the trails.
3. LARIAT
Choose the Ranger LARIAT for a premium cabin with enhancements such as leather upholstery, power-adjustable heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system, and push-button start.
This model also incorporates a 12-inch touchscreen with navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient interior lighting, and HD radio. Added standard safety features for the LARIAT include adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, advanced park assist, front parking sensors, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
4. Raptor
Step up to the Raptor for the thrill of a twin-turbo six-cylinder engine that provides 405 hp. This model is a new addition to the U.S. Ranger lineup for 2024, with enhanced performance features that include Fox shocks, a Watts-link rear suspension, dual exhaust, a steel bash plate, steel front and rear bumpers, electronic locking front and rear axles, and rear tow hooks. The Raptor also adds Active Park Assist 2.0 and Ford Trail Control.
